Day 1: Lima
Welcoming at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Lodging in Lima
Day 2: Lima – City Tour
Depart to discover Lima and its history, our tour will take you through Lima in its 3 historical periods: Pre-Hispanic, Colonial and contemporary period, first we will show you a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana”, and then you will visit the impressive Historical Downtown of Lima: Its palaces, mansions, churches and squares, ending with a visit to the residential district of San Isidro and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean from the district of Miraflores. Day 3: Lima – Cusco City Tour
Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Cusco, Coca tea welcomes drink to get acclimated
In the afternoon depart to explore the capital of the biggest empire of America, its singular architecture mix of Inca foundations and colonial additions; there you will discover the majestic Plaza de Armas where raises the grand Cathedral, then Qorikancha Inca temple, vestige of the best work in stone of the Incas that today host a Dominican monastery. Then discovery the Inca architectural heritage around the city; Sacsayhuaman, colossal and ceremonial center the most beautiful symbol of Cyclopean Inca architecture; Qenqo temple, natural amphitheater, that protects an altar of sacrifice; Pucapucara red strength, tower of control of the paved Inca trail that accedes the capital; Tambomachay source, sacred site of the bath of the Inca. Day 4: Sacred Valley Tour – Machupicchu
Depart to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Pisac walk on the typical and handcrafted market of the colonial town, the incomparable abundance of colors and smells, where the settlers dress their beautiful and traditional suit, before to explore the archeological side, lunch in a colonial hacienda in Urubamba, then depart to Ollantaytambo to visit the archeological site that still preserves the original Inca urban layout, where at night we will take the train that take you through the deepest of Urubamba canyon to arrive at the foot of the one the more mysteries and enigmatic places in the World “Machupicchu” Reception and transfer to the hotel. Day 5: Machupicchu -Cusco
Early in the morning depart to visit the archeological site, classified by Unesco as Cultural Heritage of Humanity, then guided tour per two hours and a half approx., and then free time to rest, take photos, explore and enjoy of this architectural jewel, lunch in Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon train to Ollantaytambo or Poroy station (Cusco), reception and transfer to the hotel. Lodging in Cusco
Day 6: Cusco – Puno
Bus ride to Puno along the wonderful corridor of snowcapped mounting that follow the railway and stop in Andahuaylillas villages to visit “the Sixteen chapel of the Andes”, then stop in Raqchi to visit the Viracocha’s god temple, then lunch in Sicuani and stop in the border between Cusco and Puno “La Raya” the highest point at 4300m and finally stop in Pukara archeological site one of the first cultures in the plateau very previous the Incas and them arrive Puno in the end of the afternoon. Day 7: Puno – Titicaca Lake
Discover of the wonderful Titicaca landscapes the highest navigable lake in the world at 3800m, where we will discover the amazing Uros flouting islands that are made of totora fiber, then walk in the small canoes called “Caballitos de Totora” and depart to the peaceful Taquile Island that invite us to travel back in time, this people still lives with ancestral community laws and andean customs, and they developed an interesting craft made of alpaca wool, lunch in local restaurant and then return to Puno. Day 8: Puno – Sillustani – Juliaca – Lima
(Beginning of Bolivia tour extension)
Walk around the typical market of Puno, where the Aimaras women dress the traditional costume, they come to provide food in the traditional colorful marked and then depart to Juliaca airport, in the way stop in Umayo lake to visit the impressive Chullpas de Sillustani, circular towers that protects the tombs of the main leaders of preinca cultures, then flight to Lima.
