Day 1: Lima

Welcoming at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Lodging in Lima

Day 2: Lima – City Tour – Paracas

Depart to discover Lima and its history, our tour will take you through Lima in its 3 historical periods: Pre-Hispanic, Colonial and contemporary period, first we will show you a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana”, and then you will visit the impressive Historical Downtown of Lima: Its palaces, mansions, churches and squares, ending with a visit to the residential district of San Isidro and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean from the district of Miraflores, in the afternoon bus ride Paracas and then free to walk on the beach. Day 3: Paracas – Ica – Nazca

Early in the morning depart to board the boat t and visit the Ballestas islands, in the way panoramic view of the enigmatic Chandelier, gigantic form similar to Nazca lines that we can see only from the sea, once we get the group of islands we will see the amazing marine fauna, and its beautiful landscapes in the Peruvian cost, then depart to visit Ica and the regional museum, the Catador or Vista Alegre vineyard and finally Huacachina Oasis, then bus ride Nasca, lodging in Nazca.

Day 4: Nazca – Arequipa

Depart to overfly the Nazca Lines on Nasca flat dessert and then depart to visit the Cantalloc aqueducts that amaze for its hydraulic engineering, then Chauchilla cemetery that preserve mommies for more than 2000 years, in the afternoon bus ride Arequipa through the cactus lands in the Pacific dessert to get Arequipa at 2300m. lodging in Arequipa

Day 5: Arequipa – City Tour

Día 6: Arequipa – Aguada Blanca Reserve – Colca Canyon – Chivay

Depart to go through the unusual Aguada Blanca National Reserve at 4 000 m, desolated landscape of steppe dessert, which host tender vicunas, cousin of the llama and alpaca. After Patapamba pass at 4900 m, we re-descend and arrive Chivay on the border of Colca canyon at 3 650 m. Day 7: Colca Canyon –Cruz del Cóndor – Arequipa

Going along of this sprinkled agricultural terraces valley, we get Cruz del Condor on the precipice border there you will see the mythical flight of condors that has elected this particularly preserved place as home, then stop in Yanque, Maca and Pinchollo villages, where its little churches are beautiful masterpieces of the andean baroque, and appreciate the customs and habits of Collahua people isolated of modern times. Day 8: Arequipa – Cusco – Maras – Moray – Aguas Calientes

Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Cusco, reception and depart to the Sacred Valley of the Incas contemplation of the spectacular site of salt mines of Maras, terraces of salt exploited by cultures previous to the Incas, Moray amazing Inca site, center of agronomy investigation that amazes for its beauty and concentric terraces, lunch in a local restaurant and the depart to take the train to get Aguas Calientes on the foot of Machupicchu. Day 9: Machupicchu

Early in the morning depart visit the archeological site, classified by Unesco as Cultural Heritage of Humanity, then guided tour per two hours and a half approx. and then free time to rest, take photos, explore and enjoy of this architectural jewel, lunch in Aguas Calientes. Day 10: Machupicchu – Sacred Valley Tour – Cusco

In the morning train to Ollantaytambo to visit Sacred Valley of the Incas, Ollantaytambo archeological site that still preserves the original Inca urban layout, lunch in a colonial hacienda an then depart to Pisac and walk on the typical and handcrafted market of the colonial town, the incomparable abundance of colors and smells, where the settlers dress their beautiful and traditional suit, before to explore the archeological side, depart to Cusco. Day 11: Arequipa – Cusco City Tour

In the afternoon depart to explore the capital of the biggest empire of America, its singular architecture mix of Inca foundations and colonial additions; there you will discover the majestic Plaza de Armas where raises the grand Cathedral, then Qorikancha Inca temple, vestige of the best work in stone of the Incas that today host a Dominican monastery. Then discovery the Inca architectural heritage around the city; Sacsayhuaman, colossal and ceremonial center the most beautiful symbol of Cyclopean Inca architecture; Qenqo temple, natural amphitheater, that protects an altar of sacrifice; Pucapucara red strength, tower of control of the paved Inca trail that accedes the capital; Tambomachay source, sacred site of the bath of the Inca. Day 12: Cusco – Puno

Bus ride to Puno along the wonderful corridor of snowcapped mounting that follow the railway and stop in Andahuaylillas villages to visit “the Sixteen chapel of the Andes”, then stop in Raqchi to visit the Viracocha’s god temple, then lunch in Sicuani and stop in the border between Cusco and Puno “La Raya” the highest point at 4300m and finally stop in Pukara archeological site one of the first cultures in the plateau very previous the Incas and them arrive Puno in the end of the afternoon. Day 13: Puno – Titicaca Lake

Discover of the wonderful Titicaca landscapes the highest navigable lake in the world at 3800m, where we will discover the amazing Uros flouting islands that are made of totora fiber, then walk in the small canoes called “Caballitos de Totora” and depart to the peaceful Taquile Island that invite us to travel back in time, this people still lives with ancestral community laws and andean customs, and they developed an interesting craft made of alpaca wool, lunch in local restaurant and then return to Puno. Day 14: Puno – Sillustani – Juliaca – Lima

(Beginning of Bolivia tour extension)

Walk around the typical market of Puno, where the Aimaras women dress the traditional costume, they come to provide food in the traditional colorful marked and then depart to Juliaca airport, in the way stop in Umayo lake to visit the impressive Chullpas de Sillustani, circular towers that protects the tombs of the main leaders of preinca cultures, then flight to Lima.
