Itinerary

Day 1: Ollantaytambo – Km. 82 – Wayllabamba

Early in the morning depart to Km 82; where we meet the Inca trail teen (porters, cooker, tent man, etc.), star of our adventure, the trekking will be a little bit easy this day, in the early km of the trail, we will have the chance to see the beautiful landscape and  snowcapped Veronica mountain, then we will walk along the Urubamba river to get and visit Patallacta archeological site, where we will have lunch and having a rest moment, then we will continue to get Wayllabamba our first camp site.

Meals: Snack Lunch, afternoon tea, dinner

Day 2: Wayllabamba – Pacaymayo

After breakfast we will star our second day trekking, maybe the most difficult one, because we will get up the mountain to get the Wuarmihuañusca pass at 4200, here we will have a beautiful landscape and a panoramic view of the Andes region chain, we get the lunch site and after that we get down towards the Pacaymayo valley, that will be our second camp site.

Meals: Breakfast, snack, Lunch, afternoon tea, dinner

Day 3: Pacaymayo – Wiñay Wayna

Early in the morning we will depart towards Runquracay archeological site, from where you will star to walk in a well preserved Inca trail, in some parts it has almost  2m, here we will be better able to appreciate the quality and perfection of the Inca architecture, before to get and visit Sayacmarca archeological site, also we will through a tunnel before to arrive Phuyupatamarca archeological site, close to our lunch site , then we will star to get down the way, that is really interesting cos is the entrance to the rain forest area,  rich of flora and fauna, after two hours we will get Wiñay Wayna camp site.

Meals: Breakfast, snack, Lunch, afternoon tea, dinner

Day 4: Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu

We will star early in the morning to get the Inti Punku (sun gate), the main entrance to Machupicchu, where we will be able to appreciate   and have the chance to see the first rays of the sun over Machupicchu, the landscape around and a wonderful view of the archeological site, we will get down to the archeological site, where the guide will give you a detailed explanation about its history, use and creation.

Then you will have free time to rests, take picture, and walk around there, after that we will get down to Aguas Calientes and chance to go to the hot springs.

Train to come back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy station, and then transfer to Cusco
